CSA is paid for!
I am not gonna lie though - it hurt my pocketbook a little bit. BUT I will have fresh veggies from May through October! I went with a new farm this year and I feel a bit bad. My farm last year was certified organic and the nicest people in the world! But they do a you buy in and spend what you bought in buying whatever you like (I don’t think that sentence remotely made sense). Their...

Ideas to make life easier . . .
Some of these ideas are pretty good! Hull strawberries easily using a straw. Rubbing a walnut over scratches in your furniture will disguise dings and scrapes.  Remove crayon masterpieces from your TV or computer screen with WD40. Stop cut apples browning in your child’s lunch box by securing with a rubber band. Overhaul your linen cupboard, store bed linen sets inside one of their own...

Bamboo . . .
So being the eco-friendly person I am - I needed new towels and I went with bamboo. I got to use my new towels for the first time today and they are so luxurious! They were well worth the money I didn’t pay for them (I am cheap and I got them free yo! =) I now want everything I own to be bamboo. I had no idea how simply lovely they could be! I want to feel it against my skin all of the...

The Paleo Diet: Beans and Legumes. A sneak peek at... →
Beans, Beans they are good for your heart (why??) the more you eat the more you fart. Farting is not good digestive wise people.  cookingcaveman: Another great article from the Paleo Weight Loss Coach: One of the most frequently asked questions about paleo is ‘why does the paleo diet exclude beans and legumes?’  So today I am going to explore that a bit more. Dear Organic Companies,
I would venture to say that most of us looking for organic products are also concerned about our environment and being eco-friendly. You should keep this thought in mind when over packaging your product, especially when you are using plastic. You can be organic and eco-friendly at the same time and then you would rock! Aww yeah!
I got my first fan mail! <3 Thanks ebullientefflorescence! So it looks like the sent looks and you can reply, BUT you can’t reply publicly so whatever you send is just for the person AND when you reply it doesn’t leave from your inbox. COOL! I dig it! edit: Hmmm - can you reply to a reply?

Tonight I juiced . . .
It has been a while since I have juiced. I don’t know why - I always feel better when I do. I just hate cleaning the dang juicer! So I get it out and start juicing and Kaelyn my four year old comes running up and wanted some. So she made her own concoction of carrots, celery, kale and a few bites of cantaloup and gulped it down. Then the husband wanted some - so he made up his own recipe....
